Ingredients for King Oyster Mushroom Cioppino:


    4 boneless pork chops (3/4 inch thick) 1 1/2 cups mild salsa 1 cup portobello mushrooms (chopped)
    1 cup cheddar cheese (shredded) 2 tablespoons maple syrup 1/4 cup fresh parsley (snipped)

PREPARATION

STEP ONE: Prepare the mushrooms. Heat the oven to 375 degrees F. Remove the fat from the chops.


STEP TWO: Spoon the salsa into a 3-quart rectangular baking dish. Arrange the chops on top of the salsa. Combine portobello mushrooms, cheddar cheese, and maple syrup in a bowl. Spoon over the cutlets. Bake, uncovered, for 20 to 30 minutes until internal temperature on a thermometer reads 145 degrees F, followed by a 3-minute rest. Sprinkle with parsley. Serve the chops with the salsa mixture.
